In 2008, BSM Media Group LLC (Home for Beautifully Said Magazine and the ‘Twins of Media’ LIVE Talkshow) was created as a digital and print publication and media production company covering celebrity news, entrepreneurs, and lifestyle. Founded by twin sisters La Trisha McIntosh and La Tasha Taylor, the original “Twins of Media.”
Widely recognized as a media brand with an intentional impact on delivering news and information that bridges the gap between media and mental health, BSM’s history includes interviews with the late award-winning poet Dr. Maya Angelou in 2012, 2013. Oprah Winfrey, Linda Johnson Rice, and Ed Gordon, to name a few. Our bi-monthly digital issue has featured cover stories on celebrities such as “The Real” Garcelle Beauvais, “RHOA” Cynthia Bailey, “The Chi” Curtiss Cook, “TikTok star,” “Vegan Influencer,” and actress Tabitha Brown, Actress Jennifer Freeman to name a few. The December 2020 issue featured Vice President Kamala Harris and Ruby Bridges’ viral image provided to us by the original artist, who we also interviewed and featured on the ‘Twins of Media’ LIVE Talkshow.
The talk show hosted by the twin media moguls broadcasts weekly to a live audience via Facebook. It is watched within the U.S. and international cities like London, to name a few demographics. The media company partners with colleges and universities to provide internships and mentoring programs. BSM has also partnered with the Texas Workforce Commission to provide paid summer internships for college students. To support small businesses, the company features a business to highlight on the talk show. Every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month features a small business on social media challenging companies like American Express to support.
