Jennifer Aniston Opens Up About Criticism She Received For Not Having Children

Jennifer Aniston recently opened up about what it was like to be criticized for not having children and how that made her feel.

The 52-year-old actress recently talked to The Hollywood Reporter about the scrutiny she’s faced throughout the years.

“I used to take it all very personally- the pregnancy rumors and the whole ‘Oh, she chose career over kids’ assumption,” she told The Hollywood reporter. “It’s like, ‘You have no clue what’s going on with me personally, medically, why I can’t…can I have kids?”

The comments took a toll on her mental health and she found it to be “hurtful and nasty.”

“They don’t know anything, and it was really hurtful and nasty,” said Aniston.

Aniston appeared in the “Friends” reunion episode and said that being on that set often reminded her about the hardest time in her life.

She admitted that sometimes the memories were so difficult to bear that she had to walk off the set.

“I don’t know how they cut around it,” she said.
