Christina Applegate announced she would no longer work on-camera again, completing Season 3 of the dark comedy Netflix show “Dead to Me.”
Applegate was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in August 2021. Since that time, she has been candid about her life-changing health journey.
“I can’t even imagine going to set right now,” Applegate said in an interview with Vanity Fair. “The Married with Children” star added, “This is a progressive disease. I don’t know if I’m going to get worse.”
These days, Applegate has her eyes on voiceover work, including the animated “Married with Children” series that is in the works. Applegate will reprise the role of Kelly Bundy off-camera. The actress also shared that “Make cash so my daughter’s fed and we’re home,” is also a reason for her pivoted career change, and she plans to include more producing and developing in her work.
