The Rock and Emily Blunt Make a Dynamic Duo in 'Jungle Cruise'

Jungle Cruise,” starring Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt, premiered in theatres and Disney+ last month and the pairs on-screen and off-screen chemistry has kept fans laughing.

The pair stars in the new Disney film based on the amusement park’s attraction under the same name, and since going on a press tour together it is evident they make a great duo.

The Rock recently went onto his Instagram to post about his fun times with his co-star.

“I have never EVER worked with any other costar in my life who makes me laugh harder than this one,” he said in his post.

“This level of comfort and ease, comes with trust ~ and trust ignites the chemistry and that chemistry is what you guys have loved on screen in JUNGLE CRUISE,” he added.

“They have such different philosophies on life and their sense of humor, like how they walk into every day, it’s just completely the antithesis of one another. So, I think it makes for this really fun interplay between them that’s reminiscent of those Romancing the Stone films … That clash of like two people that are kind of storming into each other’s world,” Emily told ET Online while speaking about her and Johnson’s characters.

It was recently announced that the dynamic duo would be united once more in a movie about Kate Warne, the first woman detective at the Pinkerton Agency. The Rock also teased that a “Jungle Cruise” sequel might be in the works after the film’s success.

Fans can now watch “Jungle Cruise” in theaters or on Disney+ Premier Access.
