Sherri Shepherd has earned a Daytime Emmy for hosting Sherri—an accolade arriving months after the syndicated talk show ended.

The show wrapped up in May after four seasons. Its cancellation had been announced in February, with production company Debmar-Mercury citing changes in the daytime television business. Shepherd’s Emmy win recognizes her work on the program even as its run has come to a close. Feminegra

Shepherd was reportedly performing in Broadway’s *Aladdin* during the ceremony, continuing her work onstage while her television hosting received recognition. Feminegra

The award marks a notable milestone after the show’s cancellation, but it does not change the program’s ending. Shepherd has previously expressed interest in continuing the show in another form or finding it a new home; whether that happens remains unclear. Feminegra
