Keshia Knight Pulliam says her 3-year old daughter wants to follow in her footsteps of being a child actor. Pulliam portrayed the role of Rudy Huxtable on the 80s sitcom “The Cosby Show.”

“The other day she was like mommy can I be an actor when I grow up. I told her you see mommy as a little girl on TV so understand that whatever you dream you don’t have to wait to be a grownup to do it you can just start right now.”

The 41-year-old was pregnant with her daughter in 2016 while going through a difficult divorce with then-husband Ed Hartwell. The actress has since found love again with actor Brad James.

Pulliam is returning to her role as Miranda on Tyler Perry’s ‘House of Payne,’ airing on BET. Check your local listing.

The mother and entrepreneur is also the co-founder of the Fearless Fund, invests in women of color led businesses.
