Keke Palmer Goes Instsgram Official With New Boyfriend

Keke Palmer recently made an appearance on the Tamron Hall show and spoke about her newest relationship and why she decided to go Instagram official.

Hall brought up one of Palmer’s boyfriend’s Instagram posts in which he called her a “blessing from above” and asked Palmer about more details.

“I’m really one of those people that very much so, keeps it on the Beyoncé tip of just like, you know, keeping everything low key. I think the reality is just, it became more difficult to hide you know that, you know we spend all this time together and he’s really my closest friend so it just becomes a thing where I’m not going to hide something that makes me happy.”

Palmer shared with Hall that her relationship also surprised her and said her boyfriend is very understanding of her and her work.

“I’m 28. I’m still learning so, we’ll see how it goes,” says the actress.

Hall then discussed how it is okay to admit you want a significant other and how often people try to convince themselves that they are better off alone, even if that isn’t the case.

“In this era right now, it’s very much popular to be like ‘Oh I don’t care,’ and it’s you know what I mean, it’s become very popular to the point where it does end up making you feel like you’re not opening yourself up to it,” said Palmer.

Hall asked Palmer what she does to block out the negative comments about her relationship because people will often speak negatively or doubt it.
“I think you have to really quiet the noise and find the truth in your relationship,” said Palmer. I think I’ve had many different scenarios where it’s been like okay maybe this person isn’t the right catch or you know this isn’t gonna go well or, I do receive lots of feedback from my mother. My mother’s my best friend and I think at the end of the day if you and that person are able to kind of really focus on each other and block everything out then that’s when you maybe really do know that there’s something true there, you know. Because you’re able to really just zero in on them.”
