Jay-Z may have 99 problems, but collaborating with his wife Beyoncé is not one.
Jay-Z and his wife Beyoncé have collaborated on several projects throughout the years, and recently he opened up about why he enjoys it so much.
The couple has collaborated on music, toured together, and have recently appeared on Tiffany and Co’s About Love campaign.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the rapper revealed why it’s so easy to work with his “super talented” wife.
During the 18th anniversary celebration of his club 40/40 in New York on Saturday, Jay-Z said Beyoncé is, “super detail-oriented, obviously, as you can see from her work.”
“She’s an incredibly hard worker, super talented, very inspiring,” he added.
The couple’s most recent collaboration is for Tiffany and Co’s About Love campaign which launches September 2.
The couple also created a film for the brand filmed by Jay-Z on a Super 8 camera, which will be out on September 15.
In the film, Beyoncé covers the song “Moon River,” which was originally performed by the late Audrey Hepburn on the film “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”
In the campaign images, Beyoncé had the honor of wearing the Tiffany Yellow Diamond. In doing so, she became the fourth woman and the first black woman to ever wear this famed piece of jewelry.
The campaign has been met with some controversy as the history of this “blood diamond” was revealed.
Beyoncé said she was “disappointed and angry” after unknowingly modeling the piece of jewelry for the campaign and facing backlash.
In order to compromise, Tiffany’s agreed to donate $2 million to Black colleges and universities in the U.S. that will go towards scholarships and internships.
