The couple also expressed their excitement in a joint statement.
“We’re so excited to officially announce our new baby company, Proudly. As we continue to work on new endeavors together, our goal is to always center our work around being the change we want to see while championing diversity, equity and inclusion,” the couple said in a joint statement. “With Proudly, we’re proud to have a range of products that caters to the unique skin care needs of children of color that are so often overlooked in the mass market.”
Wade, a three-time NBA champion, has kept busy since retiring from the league with his hand in the shoe industry, host of a new game show, ‘The Cube,’ and going back to his sports roots, he recently became part owner of the Utah Jazz.
Union is rightfully just as busy with the recent debut of her book ‘Shady Baby‘ inspired by daughter Kaavia. The ‘L.A.’s Finest’ actress will also star in a new Netflix film, ‘The Perfect Find,’ with star Janet Hubert (Fresh Prince of Bel-Air) and Lala Anthony (The Chi). Union is also the founder of ‘Flawless by Gabrielle Union,’ her haircare line.
Congratulations to the Wades!
