Beyoncé's Former Bodyguard and Trainer Craig Adams Dies from COVID-19

Houston-based trainer and Beyoncé’s former bodyguard Craig Adams passed away after contracting COVID-19.

The 67-year-old passed away Tuesday night and Tina Knowles-Lawson went on her Instagram to write a heartfelt message about her daughter’s former bodyguard.

“I am heartbroken this morning. I found out this morning that this amazing human being Craig Adams from Houston passed away last night from Covid,” she said in her post.

She went onto explain that the virus “attacked his organs, his lungs first made him have kidney failure and as hard as he fought he succumbed to the disease.”

Many people knew Adam’s for being a fitness junky who was always as healthy as possible.

“Craig was a fitness trainer and was healthy! This is only the latest of Many friends and family that were lost to Covid,’ said Knowles-Lawson.

She said Adams was “like a family member,” and concluded her post by saying, “Such a beautiful human being , kind , loving, and gentle. RIP Craig we love you!”

Adam’s family told KTRK that he wasn’t vaccinated against the virus.

During all of this, the House of Deréon designer urged those who are eligible to get vaccinated.

“There’s been so many people that I’ve known personally — and loved — that have passed away. There is a vaccination out there. We’ve got to get vaccinated so we can protect our loved ones,” she told KTRK.
