Luke Perry who was best known for his role as Dylan McKay on the 90’s series—Beverly Hills 90210 died Monday. He was 52.

Perry suffered a massive stroke last Wednesday and once news spread, well wishes began to pour in on social media, including those of his old castmates. The actor, currently starred on the CW show Riverdale and was surrounded by family at the time of his passing.

“He was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends. The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning. No further details will be released at this time,” a statement from Robinson read.

Perry also appeared on the big screen with roles in films including “Good Intentions,” “Red Wing” and “Buffy the Vampire Slayer.” His latest film is in director Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” which is set for release in July.
