Tom Holland Keeps His Promise To Boy Who Saved Sister From Dog Attack

In July 2020, Bridger Walker saved his little sister from a dog attack outside their home in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

At the time, Walker was six and reportedly told his dad, “If someone had to die, I thought it should be me.”

After undergoing surgery that required over 90 stitches, Walker, an Avengers fan, received praise from many of his favorite superheroes.

Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Robert Downey Jr., and Chris Evans praised his bravery, but Tom Holland took it one step further and invited Walker and his family to the set of Spider-Man.

Walker’s father shared a post on Instagram showing that Holland kept his promise. Pictures from the Walker family’s set visit were shared in the post.

“When we first arrived on set, I was a little apprehensive that once the “curtain was pulled back” that the magic of the movies would be lost for the kids,” he wrote. “The opposite was true!”

“The look on the kids’ faces was priceless when we rounded the blue-screen to see Tom, in full costume, high above the set on a light post. It was emotional to see him waive at the kids like he was the one that was supposed to be excited – not the other way around,” said Walker’s father.

His father even shared that Bridger was able to web swing with his hero.

He also thanked the cast and crew for being “willing to stop a very busy day of shooting to make my little boy smile,” and making all of his children “feel like stars.”
