Eating from a bowl of grapes from her Tabitha product line, Brown captioned her post, “I said what i said……”
The post generated 1.8 million views on Facebook, and commenters on both platforms encouraged Brown to either open her own store or create a website to house her products that currently sell at Target.

Many are now questioning why Target gave in the public pressure to scale back it’s DEI programs and the impact it could have on Black, Brown, and women-led companies that have played a significant role in expanding Target’s diverse consumer base. This situation raises concerns about the future of their partnerships with brands like Tabitha Brown, Black Girl Sunscreen, and Taraji P. Henson’s TPH, among others.
Target is joining other major companies, such as Meta, Walmart, and McDonald’s, announcing they are scaling back DEI programs.
