'Real Husbands of Hollywood' is Making a Comeback on BET+

The reality show parody “Real Husbands of Hollywood” is coming back to BET+.

BET+ greenlighted a six-episode revival of the hit series by Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat Productions and Jesse Collins Entertainment.

Hart will return for the revival as well as original cast members Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, JB Smoove, Nelly, Nick Cannon, Robin Thicke, Cynthia McWilliams, and Jackie Long.

Along with the original cast, the show will include other celebrity guest stars that have not been made public yet.

The show stemmed from a sketch Hart, Chris Spencer, and Ralph R. Farquhar did at the BET Awards in 2012. The show follows the daily lives of Hart and other celebrities in a dramatized version of themselves living in Hollywood.

The show first premiered on BET in 2013 and ran for five seasons, ending in 2016.

Hart took to Instagram to announce the revival of the show five years after its end, with a photo of the cast captioned “We are back MITCHES!!!!!”

“I called my partners at @betplus & said the world wants “Real Husbands Of Hollywood” back & they want it back now….and they said then what in the hell are we waiting for???? Give the people what they want….The entire gang is back people….” continued Hart in his post.

The series will be produced by Hartbeat Productions and Jesse Collins Entertainment and has begun production in Los Angeles.

A premiere date for the series has not been announced yet.
