Jennifer Garner is reprising her role of Allison Torres in the upcoming sequel to “Yes Day.”
The movie was based on the book of the same name written by Amy Krouse and Tom Lichtenheld, and it follows the Torres family through their wild day in which the parents can’t say no.
The movie also starred Edgar Ramirez, Jenna Ortega, Julian Lerner, and Everly Carganilla as the rest of the Torres family.
“I had the most gratifying, creative, experience bringing ‘Yes Day’ to life. Seeing Netflix’s global reach as the Torres family wreaked havoc in homes all over the world makes me eager to dive in with another Day of Yes; I can’t wait,” said the actress.
The sequel and Garner’s appearance in it is part of a partnership deal with Netflix where she will be starring in and producing movies for the streaming platform.
Garner will be working alongside Scott Stuber, head of Netflix’s global film, and the two previously worked on the film “The Kingdom” in 2007.
“As an actor, she’s proven herself to be incredibly versatile in unforgettable roles spanning fast-paced action, heartfelt comedies, and thought-provoking dramas,” said Scott when speaking about Garner.
