Jamie Foxx says he’s on his way back!
First of all, I want to say Thank you to everyone that’s prayed and sent me messages. I cannot begin to tell you how far it took me and how far it brought me back.
The award-winning actor shared on Instagram Saturday the first video of himself in months. Foxx experienced what his daughter Corrine said in a statement on April 21 as a “medical emergency.” In the video, Foxx thanks his oldest daughter and his sister Deidre Dixon for saving his life. “I cannot tell you how it feels to have your family kick in in such a way, and y’all know they kept it airtight. They didn’t let nothing out. They protected me, and that is what I hope everyone can have in moments like these,” says Foxx. Foxx is thankful to “a lot of great medical people” and his fans and says, “I’m able to leave you this video,” with the written caption.
Thank u a billion to everybody… been a long road but all the prayers great people and God got me through…. ????❤️

The “They Cloned Tyrone” star looks great, wearing a dark button-down collar polo shirt despite what he says were rumors swirling around about his health, including being paralyzed. “I’m not paralyzed, but I went through hell and back,” the star shared. Jamie did joke, crossing his eyes in the camera, letting his fans know he hadn’t lost his sense of humor when he said, “Some people said I was blind,” In seriousness, Jamie says, “I didn’t want you to see me like that with tubes running out of me and to see if I was going to make it through.” The singer and comedian continued, “I wanted you to see me laughing. Having a good time, partying, cracking a joke, doing a movie or a television show.”
I want to thank the people that let me work. I love everybody. Foxx, emotional with tears, appreciates, “All of the love I got— if you see me out from now on and once and a while I just burst into tears, it’s because it’s been tough. I was sick, but now I’ve got my legs under me, and you’re going to see.”
Foxx says, “Remember me for the jokes that I crack. The movies that I make, some of them good, and some of them ain’t.” Smiling when he says, “I think I have a good one out” (now). He encouraged his fans to keep close to the songs he sings before joking again about the rumors he was cloned. In his true comedic fashion, Foxx pretends to pull back his face when he says, “I’m not cloned man, but I’m here on earth because of some great people and because of God.”
“I love all y’all, and I just wanted to jump on here to let you know. I’m on my way back, and love.”
Welcome back, Jamie!!
