Chrissy Teigen talks about feeling depressed after becoming part of the "cancel club"

Model and lifestyle entrepreneur Chrissy Tiegan recently opened up about her mental health in her latest Instagram post.

The model shared a photo of her legs with a lengthy caption on Wednesday detailing how she felt after becoming part of the “cancel club.”

“Going outside sucks and doesn’t feel right, being at home alone with my mind makes my depressed head race. But I do know that however I’m handling this now isn’t the right answer,” she said in her post.

The 35-year-old model was once very active on all social media but stepped back after some of her older tweets resurfaced and she was accused of cyberbullying.

The model was accused of bullying by musician and model Courtney Stodden and was “canceled” after those allegations came out.

“Cancel club is a fascinating thing and I have learned a whollllle lot. Only a few understand it and it’s impossible to know til you’re in it. And it’s hard to talk about it in that sense because obviously you sound whiney when you’ve clearly done something wrong,” said Teigan.

She concluded her post on a lighter note by saying, “If you or someone you know has also been cancelled please let me know if there is a cancel club reunion because I could use some time off my couch! Thank u and goodbye I love u.”

After her post, she received supportive comments from other celebrities such as Tess Holiday and Paris Hilton.

“You’ve always shown me nothing but kindness & love & I hope you show yourself the same in return right now,” commented Holiday. Paris Hilton also commented and said she was “sending lots of love.”

Despite the support, Teigan also received heavy criticism from other followers for her lengthy post. Many people felt that her post, which mentioned she could use some time off her couch, was not genuine because her previous posts were pictures of her and her family enjoying a vacation in Italy.
