Bob Saget’s death was the result of a blunt head injury.
The comedian was on tour with his comedy show when he was found unresponsive in his Orlando, Florida hotel room.
At the time, there were no signs of foul play, but an autopsy would determine his cause of death a month later.
It is suspected Saget may have fallen or hit his head accidentally and thought nothing of it and didn’t seek medical attention for it.
His family released a statement that said, “The authorities have determined that Bob passed from head trauma. They have concluded that he accidentally hit the back of his head on something, thought nothing of it, and went to sleep. No drugs or alcohol were involved.”
His family also went on to thank his fans for the outpouring of love they received and said, “As we continue to mourn together, we ask everyone to remember the love and laughter that Bob brought to this world, and the lessons he taught us all: to be kind to everyone, to let the people you love know you love them, and to face difficult times with hugs and laughter.”
Saget was 65 at the time of his death and in an interview with Good Morning America, his wife Kelly Rizzo said he appeared to be in good health before his death.
“Now that we have the final conclusions from the authorities’ investigation, we felt it only proper that the fans hear those conclusions directly from us,” added his family in the statement.
Aside from Saget’s cause of death revealed, on February 9, Rizzo posted a video of different clips of her and Saget commemorating a month since his passing.

“One month without this incredible man. Bob truly lived life to its fullest. He had so many hardships over the years that he would always tell me ‘look, life is hard, we need to enjoy it as much as possible,'” she said in her caption.
