Adrienne Bailon-Hougton shared her thoughts on Tamera Mowry-Housley’s exit from the daytime talk show ‘The Real‘ and new co-host Garcelle Beauvais with ET.
The actress, singer, and entrepreneur, 36, spoke affectionately about her friend and ex co-host. “I think naturally it’s bittersweet we’re like man we love having you but at the same time when you’re genuinely someones friend you know what makes them happy” and “We know that being with her children, being in Napa with her husband and running their business there, and all the other opportunities and the dreams that she still wants to fulfill – as a friend, we’re all like, ‘Girl yes, you got this'” Bailon tells Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview.
Bailon continues: “We know that this next journey the next steps that she’s going to take are going to be phenomenal, and we’re excited to see those happen those dreams come true again we’re like “Damn we go miss you Tam that rhymed we are all just so proud of her and so happy for her in real life.”
When asked about new co-host Garcelle Beauvais, Adrienne responded, “Yes, we’ve been zooming it up, and (umm) we actually start this following week, and I’m super excited I think that having a new person at the table so to speak although we will all be in our homes it will definitely bring a new dynamic to the show, but I think that’s what we’re excited for we’re excited for new conversations a new personality in those conversations and so umm I have so many questions for Garcelle there’s so much about her that we don’t know and that we’re so excited to discover.”
The Real Daytime announced Beauvais as the new co-host via Instagram. The Emmy and NACCP award-winning show returns Monday, September 21, for season seven . Check your local listings.
