Janet Jackson shares she doesn’t have a nanny while she performs her residency in Las Vegas. The superstar admits her routine has changed since becoming a mom to her now two year-old son, Eissa. “I’ve slowed down a great deal,” she says. “I don’t rehearse as many hours as I used to because of being with my baby. My days have been cut in half so I can spend that time with him.”
Jackson doesn’t have anyone to help her whenever a break is needed. Proving she is the true definition of a mother who balances work and her musical career. “It is hard being a working mother, I don’t have a nanny, I do it all myself,” Janet told Stellar Magazine. Jackson sets a schedule that adheres to not only her son’s needs but hers as well. “Of course, when I’m working someone watches him, but it’s my baby and me.”
The 53 year-old singer shows how to handle it all and make things work proficiently in any particular situation. Many mothers may be inspired by Jackson’s decision to raise her child without a nanny.
The residency, ‘Metamorphosis’ consisted of 18-shows in Las Vegas Park Theater and will be ending this month.
