Drake was one of the many people who contracted COVID-19 and recently revealed one of the side effects he experienced.
The rapper revealed that he experienced hair loss after contracting the virus.
Drake has been sporting a heart shaved into his hairline as his haircut of choice, and after receiving several comments ridiculing him for it, he shared that it was because of hair loss.
The 34-year-old rapper revealed this by commenting on a fan’s Instagram post.
The post was captioned, “That heart is stressed,” along with a skull and crying emoji.
In the post, Drake responded with the comment, “I had Covid that sh*t grew in weird I had to start again. it’s coming back don’t diss.”
Drake has been open about being tested for COVID since March 2020, when he had to be tested after he was around Kevin Durant who has tested positive.
Hair loss is a common side effect of COVID-19 and can be caused by stress and illnesses such as COVID-19 which cause excess stress to the body.
Other celebrities who have opened up about hair loss as a side effect include Alyssa Milano, who recently said she experienced “extreme hair loss” after having the virus.
