The Michael B. Jordan produced ‘Raising Dion’ is renewed for season 2. The Netflix superhero family drama debuted last October and is among the streaming networks “most popular” shows of 2019.
The show is about a woman raising her son, who gets superhero-like powers after his father’s death. It stars Alisha Wainwright and Ja’Siah Young. Filming for the eight-episode sophomore season starts sometime this year though no date is provided for when it premieres on Netflix.
Jordan most recently stars in the movie Just Mercy with Jamie Foxx and where he is also one of the producers.
