Will Smith “I’ve Carried Most of My Life the Sense of Failing Every Woman I Interact With”

Will Smith opens up to Oprah Winfrey with never before told revelations on Apple TV+ ahead of the debut of his memoir titled Will.

In a teaser on The Oprah Conversation: Will Smith, Smith tells Oprah, “I’ve carried most of my life the sense of failing every woman I interact with.” The actor will be opening up about new topics and having a raw, emotional conversation with Oprah, even about a time he “lost everything.”

“I want to tell the truth. I want to let people have it,” says Smith.

He even recalls a time when he was in jail and says, “I’m laying on the floor in a jail cell and I’m like, ‘What is happening?'” He then goes on to say, “I haven’t talked about that publicly.”

In clips released by Apple TV+, Oprah is seen praising Smith for overcoming one of his fears by bungee jumping out of a helicopter in 2018.

“God put the greatest things in life on the other side of her worst fears,” says Smith. “Being able to step into those fearful places, love being the most fearful place you’ll ever try to step into. Real love. The unconditional love. To be able to open a broken heart again.”

This interview serves as support for Smith’s upcoming memoir, Will, which will be out Nov. 9.

Other topics that will be in the book include a time when Smith fell in love with his Six Degrees of Separation co-star Stockard Channing, while still being married to his first wife, Sheree Zampino.
