Tia Mowry will have a 'Sister, Sister' reunion in her final Lifetime movie

Tia Mowry is preparing for a ‘Sister, Sister’ reunion in her forthcoming final Lifetime movie ‘A Very Merry Beauty Salon’, part of a three-film agreement with the network. She will be joined by RonReaco Lee, who portrayed her on-screen love interest, Tyreke, in the 90s sitcom. Amid the excitement for the reunion, Tia has stated that there are no plans for a ‘Sister, Sister’ reboot. She has also addressed rumors about her relationship with her twin sister, Tamera, acknowledging some distance but denying any conflict. This comes after a comment in a teaser for her new reality show, ‘Tia Mowry’s The Next Act’, sparked widespread speculation. Tia clarified that their separation is simply due to geographical distance, as she resides in Los Angeles while Tamera lives in Napa with her family.

A Very Merry Beauty Salon follows Sienna (Mowry) who runs a beauty salon in Atlanta and is preparing for the annual Tinsel Ball, an event that will also honor her charitable work. Her life takes a turn when Lawrence (Lee), a charming CEO whose family’s wine brand is co-sponsoring the ball, enters the picture. However, conflict arises when Sienna’s mother, played by Donna Biscoe, disapproves of Lawrence’s involvement, fearing it may disrupt the event’s long-standing traditions.

Mowry will also executive produce “A Very Merry Beauty Salon,” which will premiere on the channel later this year. The movie also stars Cocoa Brown and Ashli Auguillard rounding out the cast. Part of a series of holiday comedies, the movie promises to bring nostalgia and warmth to the festive season, and who doesn’t love a warm and cozy holiday film?
