Serena Williams is part owner of the WNBA’s Toronto Tempo, the league’s first expansion team outside of the US. In a press release about ownership, Williams said it showcases “the true value and potential of female athletes.”

The Toronto Tempo will make its debut at the Coca-Cola Coliseum in 2026.

We are saddened to hear about the passing of former Houston Mayor and U.S. Congressman @sylvesterturner, who died Wednesday in Washington, D.C. He was 70.
