The holidays are usually the time of the year for gift wishes, but for socialite and influencer Theresa Roemer, her wish involves giving back.
Roemer’s 10th annual Fashion Show Woodlands Event benefitting The Make-A-Wish Foundation happened this month and with special guest Teresa Guidice of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. “The highly anticipated annual event brings out the whose who of Houston and surrounding areas. World renowned stylists, models, and VIP guests participate to make the night “The Talk of The Town.”

We asked Roemer what is a wish you asked for that has been fulfilled?
Honestly, my wish has always been for God to use me as a vessel to leave my footprint in this world — to let my life mean something beyond myself. Through Make-A-Wish and the lives we touch at every event, I feel like I’m walking in that purpose. I’m not fully fulfilled yet, because fulfillment isn’t a finish line… it’s a journey. But every wish granted, every family uplifted, brings me one step closer to the reason I’m here.
With the BMW of The Woodlands as the presenting sponsor, the fashion experience delivered an unforgettable evening of glamour, philanthropy, and emotion, drawing over 500 attendees and selling more than 300 tickets. Drinks flowed, entertainment filled every corner, and the atmosphere was electric as guests arrived adorned in eveningwear—many leaning into the event’s theme, Cirque De Soleil Paris.
The evening began with guests being welcomed with cocktails, light bites (including quiche, shrimp, sliders, and potatoes), and interactive entertainment. Contortionists, stilt walkers, puppeteers, jugglers, ballerinas, and dazzling show girls filled the estate, dancing and performing throughout the night. Guests received clown noses at check-in, adding to the circus-inspired festivities.

The 10th Annual Fashion Show Woodlands took place at Theresa Roemer’s lavish home, where her iconic pool became the focal point: a one-of-a-kind runway built directly over the water. Inside and outside, the residence was adorned with twinkling lights, mini hot-air balloons suspended above the runway, and carousel horses placed throughout the space, creating a Cirque De Soleil Paris ambiance.
VIP ticket holders received exclusive access to Theresa’s widely known closet, a closet known across the country for its size, luxury, and curated designer collections.
Once the fashion show began, the glitz and glamour never stopped. Theresa Roemer opened the evening dressed as a striking ringmaster, later transitioning into a glamorous evening gown. Each designer graced the runway to showcase their work as celebrity models brought each collection to life including:
Chasity Sereal – modeled by Dr. Meenakshi Ravi, Mrs. Universe, Mrs. Elite USA 2025 and Jordan Torres
Waleed Peerzada – modeled by Angela Parretta and George Rojas
Isabel Lopez – modeled by Shirelle Chementi and Matt Sarafa
Jose Sanchez – modeled by Natalie Eva Marie and Kristi Schiller

Celebrity Guest Teresa Giudice from The Real Housewives of New Jersey closed out the show with a luxurious designer dress in a standout final moment. The program also included a powerful Make-A-Wish Foundation video, spotlighting the organization’s origin story and mission—reinforcing the evening’s purpose and philanthropic spirit which also included an appearance from Tommy Austin, the Co-Founder of Make-A-Wish Foundation.
The night also carried profound emotional weight. After raising over $100,000 in donations, guests were surprised with a personal moment. Theresa Roemer proposed to her husband, Lamar, in front of the audience and renewed their vows after 20 years of marriage. Lamar, who has been terminally ill for months, was helped onto the stage by his caregivers to take part in the ceremony. The heartfelt union was officiated by Reverend Kristi Hoss Schiller.
The event successfully merged high fashion, entertainment, community, and heartfelt storytelling, making it a truly unforgettable time!
