Sherri Shepherd is bringing more fun to season 4 of her talk show, Sherri. The comedian and actress has tapped into what she calls her “superpower” stand-up for her show opening segments.
“Everybody has a super power and comedy is mine,” said Shepherd ahead of her new season, which premiered Monday, September 22.
Fresh off her award-worthy performance as Nicole in ‘Straw,’ the Tyler Perry #1 Netflix movie that debuted this past summer, Shepherd brings in a fresh addition to the show from her early days of comedy. “I am so excited for Season 4,” says the host. “Adding stand-up to the start of the show is something completely new, and it lets me pull from my comedic roots in a way I’ve never done before on the show.”

Shepherd’s premiere episode featured an all-star lineup of guests, including Wanda Sykes, Kym Whitley, and comedian Zarna Garg.
“My goal every day is to make people laugh, share stories from my life, and bring a little joy into their lives through comedy, connection, and heart … and I may be raising a little more than just eyebrows,” Shepherd adds.
Expect more “A-listers and viral moments throughout the season, keeping the show’s energy spontaneous and engaging. Shepherd’s ability to connect through humor and heart remains central to the show’s appeal.”
Welcome back, Sherri!
