Singer Michelle Williams has called off her engagement to pastor Chad Johnson. The former Destiny’s Child star announced her engagement back in April, after the two dated for a year.

In a now deleted post on her Instagram Story, Williams said she was single, but still fearless. This is not the first time Williams and Johnson have broken off their engagement as previously shown on their OWN reality show, “Chad Loves Michelle.”

“I still remain fearless,” she wrote in white text over a black background. “I guess I still remain single! Things didn’t work out. The healing that needs to take place is a must! I don’t wanna destroy another relationship. Blessings to him, his family and ministry. #FEARLESS.”

In light of her broken engagement, Williams has been very vocal about her battle with depression. Something she recently dealt with, when in October she checked into a mental health facility for her own personal well-being.

Although their relationship did not work out, we wish them both love, happiness and many blessings on their separate journeys.

Michelle’s single “Fearless” was released Friday.
