Malcolm-Jamal Warner dropped by GMA Day to speak with host Sara Haines and Michael Strahan Monday. There he discussed his current role on the prime time show, ‘The Resident.’ The actor had this to say when asked about his past roles and guest appearances, “It makes me happy that I am on the journey that I am on now. Like when I watch The Resident, The Resident…it is the first time as long as I have been in this business where I look at my work and go…Oh wow! I don’t suck. With this show, The Resident…for me I feel like I’m finally getting the handle on my craft that I’ve been chasing since Cosby. Yeah, that’s the experience I am having with the show.”
Warner played Theo Huxtable on the long-running NBC sitcom— The Cosby Show from 1984 to 1992.
