The trailer for the new film “House of Gucci” was recently released, and fans got a look into what Lady Gaga and Adam Driver will look like for the film.
The actors will be portraying Patrizia Reggiani, an Italian socialite, and Maurizio Gucci, the heir to the Gucci empire.
The new Ridley Scott film will be based on the book “The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed” by Sara Gay Forde.
The film will center around the relationship of the couple, and Reggiani’s murder plot which resulted in being sentenced to 29 years in prison.
The assassination of fashion royalty Maurizio Gucci was a huge scandal in the 90s due to Reggiani and Gucci being a beloved celebrity couple in the 70s and 80s.
According to Universal Studios, the film elaborates on “what a name means, what it’s worth, and how far a family will go for control.”
The cast will also feature an unrecognizable Jared Leto playing the role of Italian businessman Paolo Gucci and Al Pacino as Aldo Gucci.
Aside from a star-studded cast, the film also features luxurious and elaborate fashion from Gucci’s archives. From furs to gold, costume designer Janty Yates crafted iconic looks for the cast.
The film is set to hit theaters around the U.S. on November 24.
