Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are officially empty nesters.

The couple’s children have all flown the nest and are beginning lives of their own.

On Sunday, Ripa shared a photo of her and her husband sitting on the couch captioned, “So far we are crushing this empty nest thing.”

The couple has three children together Lola, 20, Michael, 24, and Joaquin, 18.

Joaquin was the most recent to leave their home as he is headed off to the University of Michigan.

The couple’s oldest, Michael, recently opened up about his mother becoming an empty nester.

“She already adopted a dog, so she’s already been preparing,” he revealed to Ryan Seacrest.

In 2019, Ripa told Entertainment Tonight how she planned on spending her time once her children were all out of their home.

“I’m truly going to be running through the house naked. I just want everybody to know that. I’m going to be sitting on every piece of furniture naked. Be warned before you come over. That’s what I’ll be doing in my spare time,” she said jokingly.
