Jalen Hurts on having an all-female management team

Jalen Hurts is the first quarterback in NFL history to have an all-female management team. While this news is not recent, it is important to highlight it, especially during Black History Month. In light of some companies distancing themselves from DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) programs, this moment serves as a reminder of the importance of fostering environments where women have the opportunity to thrive in the male-dominated field of football management. “Men dominate player-management positions in the NFL — 95% of certified NFL agents are male. Hurts wanted to break away from the mold (thesportsrush.com).”

The Houston, TX native said in a recent interview: “It’s something that happened organically. I was seeking out the best, and that’s how it happened. And honestly, it’s an eye that I don’t have that I can lean on in certain situations. That’s something I value heavily.”

“Jalen Hurts is currently in his fifth NFL season after being selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2020 NFL draft. He took over as the team’s starting quarterback in 2021 and led Philadelphia to the Super Bowl the following season. (USA Today),” After losing to the Kansas City Chiefs that year, the Eagles quarterback faces off against quarterback Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs for another opportunity at the Super Bowl title on February 9, 2025, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
