From Kendall Jenner’s fresh off the runway Richard Quinn latex number, to Jameela Jamil’s Princess Jasmine inspired dress by Monique Lhullier, it is safe to say that the stars did not come to play at the 2019 Prime time Emmy Awards.

The purple carpet swarmed with unique ensembles, some more memorable than others. We couldn’t help but to notice “POSE” star Billy Porter decked out in his custom Michael Kors suit, fully embellished with over 100,000 crystals of course. 

It seems like Billy isn’t the only one who decided to do away with the classic black and white tuxedo, “Schitt’s Creek” actor Dan Levy and Mahershala Ali both rocked colorful tuxedos as well. Levy looked great in his chocolate brown tuxedo with the classic white shirt and bow tie to top it off, and Ali looked nothing short of amazing in his emerald green Ermenegildo Zegna XXX tuxedo.
