Grammy-winning singer Celine Dion recently canceled 21 of her shows in Las Vegas.
The singer has to postpone her return to Las Vegas after suffering “severe and persistent muscle spasms.”
The news was made public after Dion posted a statement on her Instagram on Tuesday.
“I’m heartbroken by this,” said Dion in her post.
“I’m especially sorry for disappointing all the fans who’ve been making their plans to come to Las Vegas,” she said. “Now, I have to focus on getting better.”
Dion was scheduled to open at the Resorts World on November 5 but now has canceled performances through February 5.
According to People, John Meglen, the president and co-CEO of Concerts West/AEG Presents, which manages Dion’s shows, said new dates would be announced when Dion was ready.
Despite having to cancel several shows in Las Vegas, Dion still plans to begin her Courage World Tour on March 9, 2022.
