LeBron James is headed back East, but this time to the City of Brotherly Love. The NBA’s all-time leading scorer is now a Philadelphia 76er with having signed a 2-year 8 million deal, citing Rich Paul, the player’s long-time agent. James, 41, returns for a record 24th season, “joining a loaded Sixers team that just acquired former Finals MVP Jaylen Brown from the Celtics and also includes All-Stars Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey.
“This is my last decision,” James posted on social media. “I’m not going for money.”
James shared on Instagram a reel of his basketball journey from Cleveland to Miami to the Lakers filled with NBA Championships and Olympics moments. And then there is the first father-son duo to play together in NBA history. A king crown emoji was his only comment. “👑”
