Imagine Excellence to Host “Connoisseurs of Excellence: A Dapper and Dandy Affair” Supporting Youth STEAM Programs
Signature garden party to honor industry leaders and invest in the next generation
Houston playwright Shawanna Renee Rivon (Emancipation!”) is set to be honored at the “Connoisseurs of Excellence: A Dapper and Dandy Affair” supporting Youth Steam Programs.
The actor and director, ahead of the event, says of the recognition, “I’m grateful and honored. The arts matter—they bring people together, challenge us to see differently, and have the power to truly change the world.”
Founder of Imagine Excellence, Inc., Kyra Rénel Hardwick, who is also founder of The Kyra Company will host Connoisseurs of Excellence: A Dapper and Dandy Affair on Sunday, March 29, a sophisticated garden party fundraiser benefiting youth and young adult STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Agriculture, Arts, Athletics and Mathematics) programs, scholarships and community partnerships.
“Connoisseurs of Excellence reflects what’s possible when a community, purpose and excellence align,” said Kyra Rénel Hardwick. “We are not only celebrating impact – we are actively investing in the future by equipping young people with the resources and opportunities they need to thrive.”
