Tamera Mowry-Housley sat with Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager Wednesday to discuss her new book. You Should Sit Down for This.

“I think I’ve been here before,” says Mowry-Housley in response to Kotb’s saying that she is an incredible person.

Mowry-Housley shared with the hosts that she has accepted that being wise is who she is as a person.

“I have all this wisdom within me,” says Mowry-Housley.

“You were always level-headed,” says Kotb. And “listening to your gut,” added Bush.

“Your gut will never leave you astray,” says the actress. Her ‘Tameraism, as she calls it, is to “get all the outside noise out and hear your voice.”

How do you do that, asks the hosts. Mowry-Housley says you have to “mediate and have alone (me) time.”

Mowry-Housley will star next in the Christmas movie Inventing the Christmas Prince, which debuts Nov. 18 on the Hallmark Channel.
