Travis Scott Launches Emergency Food Program for Houston Residents

Grammy-nominated rapper Travis Scott donated 50,000 meals to Houston families affected by Winter storm Uri.

The Cactus Jack Foundation has teamed up with Mayor Sylvester Turner and the Houston Health Foundation to aid Houston residents; who live in one of 30 high-priority zip codes with emergency supplies.

This historic winter storm occurred last week, resulting in water shortages, power outages, and at least 50 deaths all over the state of Texas.

The Houston native teamed up with local agencies and restaurant owners to get hot meals out to Houston families.

Food and water distributions began last week, and food deliveries have been ongoing with trucks full of food and water.
