“I’m thrilled to be working with Kevin,” said Roth in a statement. “Borderlands is a different kind of role for him, and we are excited to thrill audiences with a side of Kevin they’ve never seen before. He’s going to be an amazing Roland.”
The movie spins from the popular Borderlands video game that initially launched in 2009. Its latest title Borderlands 3, debuted in September 2019.
Hart’s most recent movie on the big screen was in 2019 with Jumanji: The Next Level. Other projects include the action-comedy Man From Toronto, also starring Woody Harrelson and Kaley Cuoco; he recently completed the film Fatherhood about “a man whose wife dies shortly after childbirth.” Late 2020, Hart debuted his Netflix comedy special, No F**s Given, filmed adequately from the comforts of his home, and at the beginning of this month, he inked a first-look deal with the streaming service.
