Zoom Where It Happens Series Finale “A Different World” With Yara Shahidi

The series finale of Zoom Where It Happens features 80’s and 90’s favorite “A Different World.”

The cast includes Yari Shahidi, Storm Reid, Tessa Thompson, Kelly McCreary, Oswin Benjamin, and Lil’ Yachty. Multiple Award-winner director Debbie Allen, who also directed the original series, will do so in the live table read series Tuesday.

Created and “presented by Black women artists to raise awareness and activation around voting rights in partnership with Zoom,” the series will end with its sixth performance on October 27.

Shahidi will host with Emmy nominee Stephanie Allain producing. The episode reimagines a scene with characters Kinu (Thompson), Whitley (McCreary), Freddie and Jalessa (Reid), Adele (Allen), Dwyane (Benjamin), and Ron (Lil Yachty).

The popular series debuted September 8. Past episodes were the Golden Girls, Friends, Sanford and Son, and 227.
