Regina King looked absolutely stunning in an all-white Oscar de la Renta gown to complement her big win. The actress/director took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in “If Beale Street Could Talk.” King paired her beautiful gown with white pumps instead of a strapless heel. Many fashion critics thought this was a great style choice because it reminded them of old Hollywood glamour. Accepting her award; King gave tribute to two important people.

“Mom, I love you so much, she said through tears. “Thank you for teaching me that God has always been leaning in my direction.”

King also acknowledged the legacy of author James Baldwin, whose novel is the inspiration for the film from director Barry Jenkins.

Amandla Stenberg shook the red carpet in her 1920’s inspired look with gown by Miu Miu. The fringed chains appear to lay over her skin, but the illusion is completed with a nude fabric underneath. Her finger wave patterned braids complemented her flapper style dress, giving her a vintage look. The Gatsby attire was not seen only on the red carpet, but Stenberg had the honor of presenting Best Motion Picture. The winning of Green Book as stirred a lot of conversation but the spotlight is still on her stunning look!
