Jennifer Lopez took a break from her “It’s My Party” tour to celebrate her 50th birthday party this week. Her gold themed party took place at Gloria and Emilio Estefan’s guest house located on Star Island.

The evening started with a beautiful message from her fiancé Alex Rodriguez along with a custom J. Lo Porsche. The video was said to not only tear up J. Lo but a few of the party goers as well. The birthday festivaties was filled with family and stars. There were performances from Stevie Mackey, Pia Toscano, Ashanti, daughter Emme, Fat Joe, and the birthday girl herself.

J. Lo wore a custom-made gold Versace dress. Her party was catered with cocktails from Pretty Little Things and an amazing dessert bar that included cake pops, and dipped pretzels. The birthday cake was a custom 10-layer treat created by Divine Delicacies Custom Cakes in Miami. It was decorated black and gold and covered in 24-karat edible gold. The number 50 was made from Swarovski crystals.

Miami Mayor, Dan Gelber and Vice Mayor and commissioner, Michael Gongora declared July, 24, 2019 as Jennifer Lopez Day in Miami. She was presented with the Proclamation and keys to the city.

In addition to celebrating turning 50, the multi-talented star also has a new movie coming out on September 13th, titled “Hustlers.” It features Constance Wu, Cardi B, and Lizzo.
