It’s Ms. Jackson! If you’ve just been inducted into the Rock Hall of Fame. That’s right! Janet Jackson joins Stevie Nicks and Def Leppard as inductees. The overdue music achievement has her in the company of her late brother Michael and the Jackson 5 as members.

This was the third nomination for Jackson who rose out of the shadow of her famous brother with the album “Control” in the 80’s.  Since then, she’s entertained audiences with hits like, “Rhythm Nation,” What Have You Done For Me Lately,” and That’s the Way Love Goes.”

Jackson originally became eligible in 2007, but was not nominated until 2016.  Perhaps, due in part to the infamous 2004 Super Bowl appearance where her breast was briefly exposed, and which caused her career to take a slight stumble. Despite such controversies, there is no denying the number of years Jackson has rocked the stage to give fans great music and more.

Congratulations Ms. Jackson!!
