3 Reasons Why Beyoncé's Instagram Sets Boundaries

Much like she drops an album on her own terms, Beyoncé does the same on social media. Come on! What other celebrity has millions of followers without following anyone back. No one, zilch, not even her family members. And here are three reasons why Beyoncé’s Instagram sets boundaries.

Limits— Much like boundaries, it protects who we are and the things we invite into our lives. Healthy: Mind, body, and spirit is our decision on how much of ourselves we are willing to share with others. Beyoncé allows fans glimpses of her world without feeling the need to put everything on display. Like the Brown Skin Girl singer, it may be a great idea to start the new year tightening the confines of your inner circle. Only you can determine what’s best.

Uncommon— In a world, particularly on social media, common is, well, colloquial. Sameness is the most popular, and it’s when we go against the grain that sparks a unique flare worth noticing. Beyoncé doesn’t feel the need to follow anyone to have a great social media experience. She can still connect to her audience, share what makes her happy with others, and not feel the need to satisfy everyone who visits her page respectfully. It further communicates that you are willing to live life without the pressures of having to please everyone because let’s face it, Beyoncé or not, we cannot possibly make everyone happy, so why not focus on what brings us content regardless.

Dearest— It’s protecting and loving the people close to our hearts. Our family and friends. Beyoncé’s joy identifies in the eyes of her husband and children. You see it when her mother, Tina Lawson, or Ms. Tina, as she’s affectionately referred to on Instagram, shows images and videos of her daughter the world might not otherwise witness. The latest, are her memories of 2019, which ended with a sweet photo of the Carter family. Much like Bey, set your boundaries, so that you continue to be the superstar you are, who knows that your happiness, originality, and loved ones matter most.
